In 1999, former Senator Dr. Karel Floss founded the Global Ethic Foundation in the Czech Republic. As Chairman of the Foundation, he has worked untiringly over the years to promote the Global Ethic idea in political and academic circles, propagating it through events organized by the Procopius Centre in Sazava which he heads, and to cultivate contacts in the field of education in order to spread the Global Ethic idea in the schools. Thanks to his efforts, the books Tracing the Way and Crossing the Divide: Dialogue among Civilizations have appeared in the Czech language.
